My lovely daughter came running down the stairs the other night and told me who (louie gigilo, chris tomlin, beth moore and 55 000 college students) was going to be at the Passion Conference -she asked if we could go. What is a parent supposed to say if her teenager wants to learn more of Jesus! So we've made the reservations and Maybe just maybe we'll find some METS alumni! Contact me for details as you can register under the Payson CHristian CLinic registration (and maybe get a discount!) Jord…

In four nights, the Payson Christian clinic gave 500 immunizations. Families with small children, pregnant women and teenagers with asthma quietly lined up for their H1N1 shots/sprays. We had a couple children who tried to make a running break but when they saw the stuffed animal rewards, they stood still. The nights reminded me of Joseph and his storehouse. God allowed Joseph to be in the right place and at the right time to save his people-God's people. The Payson Chrisitan Clinic ministers to…

Tonight we began giving out the 300 H1N1immunizations given to us at the Payson Christian Clinic. Less than two years ago, we only had a God given dream to share His love with our community. As families of small children and pregnant moms came for the shots, I could only praise Him! Our volunteers have become a family over the past two years with working together, conferences and a great Bar B Q. Working seamlessly, everyone was welcomed, encouraged and immunized. I pray that our little clinic w…

Jordan, Lois (Khryss' daughter from the Philippines) and I just came home from the Christian Clinic. It's been a long day and I wasn't sure that my body was going to make it. But I knew from past experience that Jesus was going to make it! We had a couple of new volunteers tonight. Fun to watch their eyes as we watch God work in our lives and the patients lives. So I went into a room after the prayer team had left it. As I was asking the new patient about her past history, she stopped me and ask…

Yesterday the experts decided that Jordan's Long QT syndrome is more of a problem than the atrial arrythmia. We have an appointment at Mayo Rochester at the end of August. We are on the cancellation list and may even have an appointment as soon as the last week of July. Jordan is feeling pretty dizzy with any movement but she is enjoying the time playing her Wii (Mario Kart). She is relieved to know that she will be seen by the world experts on Long QT soon. So she continues on meds and being wi…

Some of you may follow Yang's "A Doctors Journey With Cancer." If not you can find a link on our site's start page (Down a bit on the right hand collumn). Regardless his most recent entry in the "Health Update" section is one that is calling for our prayers of support, peace, wisdom and healing. Please read the following and keep Yang and his family lifted in prayer.
In His grip,
Randy

Last thursday morning, Jordan woke up with a tachyarrythmia. It was very uncomfortable for her as her heart would speed up to 160's then slow down to 60's. We tried everything that the cardiologist suggested until Saturday night when she began to faint with the rhythm. So we went at midnight to Flagstaff Medical Center to be with her cardiologist. He immediately found that she had an atrial arrythmia secondary to multi foci trying to lead the beat. He placed her on some meds to help her feel com…

Jordan and I are in TOkyo right now, waiting for our plane to Hawaii. We had a session on the Holy Spirit upto the minute we left. THe professionals were a wonderful group with much variation in experience and expectations. As we left Hong Kong, I felt like I was leaving a piece of me, so did Jordan. Last night we saw Dr. Tipoe's anatomy library. Incredible. I might of learned anatomy better with a library like his. It's pouring rain, as it has most of the trip. Can't wait for a dry beach! We'll…

Today is the beginning of the METS conference for the professionals of Hong Kong. We have about 12-14 participants, all residents or practicing physicians. We have an ED doctor from the UK who also joined us. Starting over again is somewhat hard for me. Yesterday was one of the sweetest days. The Holy Spirit swept through the room and the level 1 students grabbed a hold of the Holy Spirit talk and made it their own. I was close to tears as I would hear their conversations. I knew this was exactl…

Worship each morning has been done in 4 languages! English, Cantonese, Mardarin and today in Spanish. Not quite Revelations 5:9 but a taste of heaven. Pray for Level 1 who will be learning how to share the Gospel today. Level 2 is learning how to relate in different situations (the Dying, sharing the Bible with the non-Christian). Tommorrow is the Practicuum for Level 1/2 and the start of METS for the Professional.

Dr. Dave (Tellez) makes it safely to Hong Kong and finds the hotel (which is very nice). A few students have been excused from the conference because they have exposure to people who have had documented Swine Flu. Kingdom Mentality and Called for a Purpose have gone well in the Level 1. Level 2 students are learning about how to sustain and consolidate momentum for a Spiritual Movement with a vision to reach into China. Several students are headed to mission projects in Burma and China.

Everytime I think that we are going to attend a great METS conference, God surprises us with an awesome conference! Great students, Great speakers, such a blessing. One student asked if it would be appropriate to pray for each of her classmates in her medical school class. (We didn't even tell Yang's story yet.) Another student said "I am here to decide if this is my faith or my parent's faith". Very attentive and beautiful spirits. Tonight we had a doctor couple shared about their ministry with…

Jordan and I leaving Tokyo now. Other than trying to get on the wrong airline-we've had a great trip. We love Tokyo-especially the Ginza. I think I had better take Jordan to NYC sometime-she thinks that these cool places only exist outside the country! We can't wait to see everyone in Hong Kong.

Jordan and I are now in Tokyo. We're island hopping to Hong Kong. We've reallly enjoyed the Japanese culture. We've been praying that God show us Himself in what we see. The politeness and servant-type attitude is amazing among the Japanese. They get really concerned when we are lost! Today Jordan and I are going to the Ginza and the Imperial Gardens. Please keep praying for the Hong Kong METS.

Jordan and I just returned from the Philippines. God is good. We had about 120 students with 40 returning. We met at a conference center with the classrooms downstairs and the dorm rooms upstairs. Each room had up to twenty students on mats and bunks. By God's grace, the whole building was air conditioned! The students had a 10 pm curfew so they turned out the lights and sat in the hallways, singing and talking until early in the morning. It was a delight to hear.
The conference was held in San…
